Two bird species displaying different foraging behaviours. A female or juvenile Oriental Magpie-Robin (Copsychus saularis) searches for food on the ground, moving among dry fallen leaves, twigs, and seed pods while picking through the leaf litter for insects and other small prey. Nearby, a Coppersmith Barbet (Psilopogon haemacephalus) clings to a tree trunk and hangs upside down, inspecting the bark as it searches for insects or fruit. The sequence highlights the contrasting feeding strategies of these two common Indian birds within the same natural habitat.
