Attractive birds with zygodactyl legs / claws, these are relatively common even in Delhi like this pair we filmed. These birds are very adept when it comes to digging through tough wood and that is a substantially big hole allowing two birds at one go. When these birds are in action and pecking on the wood they look like they are headbanging to some rock music.
