Titmice are cute little sprightly chirpy birds that spend incessant amounts of energy on moving around pretty much all the time, in search of insects, larvae and smaller prey. They need to keep eating in order to keep themselves energized and to fund the energy they spend on hunting. The Red-headed Tit often joins a mixed hunting party and hunts for insects in the company of other small bird species, by collaboratively hunting. One gets to eat insects disturbed by another bird and which that bird could not catch, for example.
