Two remarkable species found in the forests of northeastern India: Featured first is a male Red Junglefowl, the wild ancestor of the domestic chicken. Perched on a branch amidst dense tropical vegetation, the bird displays its striking natural coloration with golden-orange neck feathers, a dark blue-grey body, and a bright red comb. Red Junglefowl are native to South and Southeast Asia and are commonly found in forest edges, bamboo groves, and dense undergrowth. The video also captures a pair of Capped Langur resting and interacting within the lush forest canopy of Manas National Park. One langur appears to groom the other, reflecting the strong social bonds common among these arboreal primates.
