This wildlife footage from Assam captures a small group of Golden Langurs (Trachypithecus geei) resting quietly on tree branches within a dense forest habitat. The langurs are seen taking shelter high in the canopy, with their distinctive golden to creamy-yellow fur glowing vividly against the deep green foliage of the forest. The contrast between their bright coloration and the surrounding leaves makes the species instantly recognizable and visually striking. Golden Langurs are among India’s most endangered primates and are endemic to a very limited range in Assam and parts of Bhutan. They are primarily arboreal, spending most of their lives in the upper canopy, where they feed on leaves, fruits, flowers, and seeds. Resting behaviour such as this is commonly observed during quieter period
