Ghosh, chairman of State Bank of India speaks about the rural banking in India, he says, "Uniqueness of banking system is that, a, we have always tried to adapt our system to the compulsion of economy and as I said that the rural banking is one such compulsion number two we have no model to fall back up on we have to do it on our own and I must say there the policy makers have been extremely innovative and extremely forward looking.
