Home to more than 300 species of migratory and non-migratory birds, Keoladeo National Park is one of the largest man-made wetlands in India. Some birds fly thousands of miles to breed in this monsoon fed wetland in Rajasthan. A trio of Bar-headed Geese forages near a water hole. A Cormorant is seen sunning itself with a flock of other birds. While and adventurous and hungry Cormorant is seen 'deep-sea diving' in the waters. A large group of Lesser Whistling Ducks can also be seen on some dry ground. The Lesser Whistling Duck Dendrocygna javanica, also known as Indian Whistling Duck or Javan Whistling Duck, is a small whistling duck which breeds in South Asia and southeast Asia.
