A Green-backed Tit is perched among berry-covered branches within a forest canopy illuminated by warm morning sunlight. The small bird displays a distinctive black crest and hood, contrasting white cheek patches, a greenish-yellow back, and a bright yellow underside marked by a dark central stripe. It repeatedly tilts its head while scanning the surroundings and calling from its elevated perch among the branches. Clusters of small berries surround the bird within the dense woodland vegetation of the high-altitude forest habitat. Green-backed Tits are highly active passerine birds known for searching tree bark, foliage, insects, and berries while moving rapidly through forest canopies.
