An interaction between two male Indian Peafowl, commonly known as peacocks, in Wilderness Orchard. Both birds display the species' iconic iridescent blue necks and heads, elegant crests, and long ornamental trains. One of the peacocks reveals the intricate black-and-white barring on its wings and body as the pair confront each other. In addition to their stunning appearance, the two males engage in a brief territorial dispute, a behavior commonly observed during the breeding season. Male peafowl often compete for dominance, territory, and access to females through displays, vocalizations, and occasional physical clashes.
