Hardas Village in Kargil district, Ladakh, lies along the Srinagar-Leh Highway amid a rugged high-altitude mountain landscape. The Dras River flows beside the village, forming a bright turquoise channel at the base of the settlement. Terraced fields and dense orchards surround clusters of traditional flat-roofed houses built along the hillside. Apricot trees add seasonal vegetation to the village, while tall poplar and willow trees grow around the cultivated areas. The scene shows Hardas Village, its orchards and the Dras River against the steep, dry mountain slopes of the Kargil region.
