Large flocks of flamingos gather gracefully at Shakambari Jheel near Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan, transforming the shallow waters into a living canvas of pink and white. Some birds stand calmly in the reflective water, carefully preening their delicate feathers, while others tuck their heads beneath their wings in peaceful rest. A few move slowly through the shallows, foraging with curved bills dipped beneath the surface in search of algae and tiny aquatic organisms. The tranquil setting, with shimmering salt flats and open skies, creates a serene yet dynamic wildlife spectacle. The synchronised movements and soft calls of the flock make this wetland a breathtaking haven for bird lovers and photographers alike.
