Drink time for a leopard disturbed by peafowl calls and Red-wattled Lapwing panic calls. The leopard approaches the waterhole with its tail upturned, in a state of watchfulness. A harem of peafowls (Pavo cristatus) calls around a leopard quenching its thirst at a water hole with a raised tail. Leopards need very less amount of water as the moisture content in their body is compensated by the content of moisture in their prey.
