A leopard devours its fresh hunt on a tree in India. The leopard is enjoying its meal in the daytime. It has taken its kill onto a tree branch so that other predators or scavengers do not have access to it. Watch the leopard nearly dropping the deer carcass while feasting on it. Leopards are known to hunt nocturnally and in solidarity. They drag their prey up to the forks of trees to escape larger predators. Leopards are successful hunters because of their ability to adapt to different environmental conditions.
