Spotted Dove (Spilopelia chinensis) perched on a broken branch stump in warm sunlight before moving to the ground to forage among moss, plants, and stones. Its distinctive black-and-white spotted collar, brown wings with pale markings, pinkish-grey head and chest, and rosy-red eyes and feet are visible. The dove walks across the ground and pecks among the vegetation while searching for food. Spotted Doves commonly feed on seeds, grains, and other plant material and are found in gardens, villages, forest edges, and other open habitats across South Asia. The recording includes natural outdoor sounds, with insects, nearby birds, and vegetation audible in the background.
