A 13 piece Indian orchestra stood tall in Varah Ghat chowk for the for merrymaking before the Holika dehen (Holi bonfire). The organising committee honours the orchestra by putting a flower garland around their necks. Even though it was a night before Holi, a hoard of tourists and locals gathered at the chowk dancing to the tunes of the orchestra. Pushkar's Holi is famous for its merry-making and hospitality since there is a large number of tourists visiting from different countries. Tourists of different backgrounds and nationalities were dancing with the locals hence living up to the essence of Holi. While the crowd was enjoying and dancing at one end of Varah Ghat the priests were busy preparing for the Holika. Decorating it with flowers, colours and dupattas. This footage is part of th
