Policemen gather at Varah ghat chowk of Pushkar in order to clear out space without any hassle for the Holika Dahan to be followed in the evening. The orchestra lines up in front of the Agreshwar Mahadev Mandir at Varah Ghat playing some Indian musical piece while the organising committee gets started on putting up the holy pyre together. The holy pyre is made with dry hay along with wood and once the hay is stacked together the pyre is covered with a saffron-coloured cloth in order to keep the structure together. Two tourists can be seen asking about the Holika Dahan from one of the local.
