This cute little thrush looks such a pretty site among the white flower clumps of this shrub in Jabbarkhet, Mussoorie, at the wildfilmsindia sanctuary. What a lovely challenging yet cheery call this Laughing Thrush has, as it sits on a branch and establishes its territory, while taking preening breaks in between calling out! With a tone of familiarity, we have nick-named this common and friendly mountain bird as a 'Laughie'. This Streaked Laughing Thrush couple have decided to nest in a shrub, in April 2021, at our wildfilmsindia Motidhar estate forests. The Laughie nervously approaches its nest, turning this way and that, before deciding to make the call finally!
