A leopard munches on the carcass of a deer, while spotted deer or Chital cross a forest path in a leisurely fashion. The leopard looks alert while enjoying its meal and decides to drag his meal to the fork of a tree. It can be seen having its prey by putting its head between the fork where the carcass is hanging. Leopards feed on trees to avoid bigger predators and scavenging packs from snatching away its meal. "When a Leopard has made a successful kill, it will do all it can to protect that food source from other predators. One way it is able to do so it by climbing up a tree with that carcass in its powerful jaws. They are the only known feline that takes their food to this extreme in order to protect it.
