Magpie family corvids or crow-like Tree Pies sit on and around their twig nest on a Teak tree in Delhi. While the female incubates the eggs, the male sits around the nest and keeps her company. Come spring and these Treepies start incubating their eggs. We don't see birds incubating in the wild up close like this. Notice the partner guarding the surrounding area of the nest while the other bird sits inside the nest. The nest has been filmed up close, made of dry twigs woven into a nest in between the fork of a tree branch. Observe the colour of the birds and details of the underside of their tails.
