Puffed rice is famous for snacks. We do remember our old childhood days having it more often and are still on it. puffed rice is also known as muri in Hindi and Jow in Bhutanese. The lady, dressed in a beautiful Kira, Bhutan's national dress, is making the puffed rice. How to prepare for the Puffed rice; 1: soak the raw rice in the water for 3 to 6 hours 2: once it is thoroughly soaked, then you can add 2 spoons of mustard oil or any kind of oil you would prefer 3: Mixed it and keep it for another 10 to 15 minutes. 4: Heat the iron pan 5: put one small bowl of rice on it 6: keep on stirring the rice to prevent it from burning 7: heat it for 3 to 5 minutes and 8: you have your Jow (puffed rice)on the table.
