Perched gracefully on a leafless branch, the Ashy Drongo commands attention with its sleek, dark plumage and deeply forked tail. This medium-sized bird, primarily grey to almost black, reveals a subtle blueish sheen when caught in the sunlight. Its striking crimson red eyes are impossible to miss, distinguishing it from other drongos. Unlike the Black Drongo, the Ashy Drongo has no white spot at the base of its bill, making it a unique sight for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.
