a small Indian palm squirrel (Funambulus palmarum) resting motionless along a tree trunk. Its slender body is stretched flat against the bark, with its head lowered and eyes open, appearing calm and alert. The squirrel’s distinctive three white stripes run clearly along its brownish-grey back, while its long, bushy tail extends behind it along the branch. It seems to be lying still, possibly pausing to rest or staying low to avoid attracting attention. The claws are gently gripping the bark, helping it maintain balance on the angled trunk. The soft, blurred green and yellow background highlights the squirrel’s natural woodland habitat.
