A close-up view captures an adorable Indian Palm Squirrel relaxing along a tree branch while constantly sniffing the air and observing its surroundings. The small striped rodent repeatedly twitches its nose, using its strong sense of smell to explore nearby scents and remain alert to movement around it. Its characteristic dark brown and light tan stripes are clearly visible across the back, along with its bright eyes, delicate paws, and bushy tail. Although resting briefly, the squirrel remains highly active and attentive, displaying quick head movements and curious behaviour typical of the species.
