A Muntjac, Barking Deer or Kakar caught on camera at night at 3 am on 20th March 2021, Jabbarkhet, Uttarakhand Barkers and Goral with Tibetan prayer flags behind - only at wildfilmsindia! Barking Deer or Muntjac / kakar and Goral or wild Mountain Goat gambol around our Oak forests at the wildfilmsindia sanctuary at Jabbarkhet in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Even an elusive Leopard Cat walks into our frame, as does a feral cat. Can you help us identify if this is a wild species or just a domestic run-wild cat? On the 9th of March, a Goral takes a nice long poop in front of our camera! This horned Mountain Goat or Goral walked up confidently to our camera trap on the 3rd of April 2021, and inquisitively checks it out, looks around and displays his face and white ruff or throat patch prominently.
