This fascinating camera trap footage, captured by the WildFilmsIndia team in the oak-dominated foothills of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, offers a rare glimpse into the secret lives of Himalayan wildlife. A Himalayan Grey Langur (Semnopithecus schistaceus) moves confidently through the forest, climbing, leaping, and traversing the trees with remarkable agility. The camera also records a Barking Deer or Kakar (Muntiacus muntjak) quietly walking through the woodland understory, remaining alert as it navigates the dense habitat. Also appearing on camera is a Rhesus Macaque (Macaca mulatta), crossing through the forest on its daily movements. Adding to the diversity of species captured, a Blue Whistling Thrush (Myophonus caeruleus) can be seen searching the forest floor for food.
