Rare Snow Leopard footage shot in the winter of 2011! This Panthera uncia killed a Yak at 16, 000 feet altitude, near a village in Ladakh and our local tracker filmed this, after our professional crew had gone back, after a month of failure to film this fantastic feline. But we will be back before long, to film this graceful Himalayan cat, to support our filming partner Amber! According to Wikipedia: "The snow leopard (Uncia uncia or Panthera uncia) is a moderately large cat native to the mountain ranges of South Asia and Central Asia. The classification of this species has been subject to change and its exact taxonomic position will not be resolved until further studies are conducted.
