This beautiful scene from a remote valley in Ladakh captures a narrow frozen stream running through the cold desert, lightly blanketed with fresh snow. Even in the silence of winter, we can still hear the soft sound of water moving beneath the ice, slowly melting under the bright mountain sun. Along this snow-covered road, a group of wildlife trackers walks carefully, following fresh snow leopard (Panthera uncia) pugmarks stamped clearly into the snow.
