While searching for Snow Leopards in early January, in -30 degrees Celcius temperatures, in Ladakh, our team walked by this valley with a totally frozen stream, blue-green shiny ice at its lower end, and snow all over. Of course, up the valley, we got a lovely mountainscape. India's Ladakh mountains in winter can be freezing and magical, at once!
