A wild Cherry tree or Padum in full bloom in early winter around Mussoorie is a club-house for local birds and butterflies feasting on the nectar for the butterflies and the insects that comes to the flowers, for the birds. A Black-capped or Rufous Sibia partakes of the feast, while a Himalayan Whistling Thrush calls out joyously. A pair of White-throated Laughing Thrushes join in.
