Some of the bird species that wildfilmsindia protects at its Wilderness Orchard and botanical gardens in the western Himalayan town of Landour in Mussoorie. The Collared Pygmy Owlet is the smallest Owl in the world. See first time footage of its breeding biology and calls on our channel here. The female Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush is natterly dressed in sober browns while the male is flamboyant in chestnut and oxford blues. The Black-capped Sibia loves to frequent our flowering Rhododendron arboreum trees partaking of both the nectar and the insects drawn to it. The Hill Barbet is a common resident, its piao-piao call resonating across the hills. Our little owl loves sitting on the cherry tree! The Greenb-backed Tit and the Black-crowned Jay are common residents that cheery up our forests
