Indian government decides to invite tender under NELP or New Exploration Licensing Policy to increase production of petroleum and natural gas in 1999. Santosh Gangwar Union Minister of State, Petroleum and Natural Gas speaks about Petroleum policy. He says, "We should perform road show all over the world and invite other parties from the world that they should issue tender in our country and I think after December session of Parliament this process will start." Whereas Santosh Gangwar has agreed to this fact this these steps will only increase a less amount of Petroleum production and after this, we have to depend on imported oil.
