Union Minister of State or Commerce P. Chidambaram promised this week the center will further liberalize the import of consumer goods at the end of this month addressing the joint meeting of the board of directors of the Indo - U. S. commercial alliance or U. S. ICA in the capital. The minister further hopes that Indian industry would look upon the U. S. as a market as well as a supplier of Technology. P. Chidambaram speaks about Indo-U. S. commercial alliance. He says, "Indian business must, therefore, see as a way in which we quickly find innovative and novel ways and means by which we can absorb that technology into India."
