Indian telecom companies are satisfied with new telecom policy. According to this policy, telecom companies have to pay a fixed amount to telecom department of Indian Government in return for the free license. Vineet Rai, Chairman Koshika Telecom speaks about the new telecom policy. He says, "Licensing in telecom sector was an important issue but now after this policy, it will be resolved and the main reason for which the private sector was invited by Indian Government into telecom is that at an affordable rate telecom facilities could be given to people." Telecom companies get their license in four metropolis in India which is Bharti Airtel and Essar in New Delhi, BPL in Mumbai, Modi Telstra and Usha Martin in Kolkata, Crompton grips and RPG in Chennai.
