With the introduction of technology, people in 20 districts of Bhutan started using power tiller. in olden days, farmers had to work for more than a week for the cultivation of maize and other products but now they can do the same work consuming lesser time, energy and increasing the production. maize is widely used in and around the world for many purposes. It contains a rich source of protein. people enjoy having popcorn, grain, sweet corn, baby corn and other cereals for the meal. It is grown in the southern and eastern part of Bhutan by the early June and July. (hot temperature) In this process, firstly plough the field thoroughly before sowing and ensure that the fertile soil is deep enough to digest the seed in it.
