Several reddish-purple and black long-legged ants, likely belonging to the desert ant genus Cataglyphis, move around the entrance of a nest. The ants emerge from a small hole in the ground and move across the surrounding surface. Their elongated legs and dark body coloration are visible as they work around the nest entrance. The footage is captured in timelapse, showing repeated movement and activity around the colony's opening. The species may include Cataglyphis nodus, but identification to species level requires location and closer examination.
