This Zesterops palpebrosa on kashmal or Berberis aristata shrub is feeding on insects in Landour. This is the upper altitude range of the White-eye. A common bird in India which feeds on nectar and small insects, this Indian White-eye previously known as the Oriental White-eye pecks on the branches of the thicket foraging for good. The name originates from the fact that the birds in the white-eye family have a peculiar white feather growth around the eyes.
