A magnificent White-throated Kingfisher sits alert on its perch in Wilderness Orchard, displaying the brilliant colors that make it one of India's most recognizable birds. Its vibrant turquoise-blue wings and back shine beautifully against the rich chestnut-brown head and body. The bird's most distinctive feature is the bright white throat and breast patch, complemented by a powerful crimson-red bill designed for catching prey.
