Listen to this bird call and tell me you haven't heard it while walking in mountain forests or sitting in a hill station garden...!? Is that a Slaty Blue Flycatcher at the end of this video? Please help us identify and confirm the same! It appears to be a Pale Blue Flycatcher, with a slightly whitish belly. The female is more greenish-grey than the bright blue Verditer male. The male sits on a prominent perch and lets out its pleasant whistling trill... A Verditer Flycatcher 'Wheeting' its way into the Himalayan spring at our Wilderness Estate in Jabbarkhet.
