I was scared the engine of Vijay Mallya's yacht would suck me in if I fell off the edge of the yacht. Dr. Mallya wanted me to get the wave at the back of the boat, in the Kingfisher Calendar picture. The shot went off well. This was a most memorable shot for me. We shot in Cannes, Monte Carlo, Monaco, St. Tropez, Nice and other places along the coast. "There is a beach called Niki Beach and it wasn't a joke of Vijay Mallya because of my name. We enjoyed shooting there." "Upen Patel may roam around with girls. I would not comment on that. He is quite a good friend of mine." Nikita Das-D’ Souza calls herself Nikii Daas on the Kingfisher Calendar. Kanishka Kapoor, a model who features in Vijay Mallya’s Kingfisher 2007 calendar.
