Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik gave an emotional tribute to drowned syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi on Puri beach in Odisha. Pattnaik created the sand sculpture of the three-year-old at Puri beach, 65 kilometers from Bhubaneswar in eastern India. The words written below, ‘Humanity washed ashore. SHAME SHAME SHAME…, Pattnaik encapsulate the horror felt by all who have seen the pictures of Aylan’s lifeless body with face down in the sand of Turkey’s Bodrum beach after he drowned alongside his mother Rehan, 35, and brother Galip, 5.
