It's streaks showing up prominently, this Laughie makes cheery calls - see this Laughing Thrush, beak open wide and throat puffing up to proudly and loudly call out to the hillside, and firmly establish its territory! What a lovely challenging yet cheery call this Laughing Thrush has, as it sits on a branch and establishes its territory, while taking preening breaks in between calling out! With a tone of familiarity, we have nick-named this common and friendly mountain bird as a 'Laughie'. This Streaked Laughing Thrush couple have decided to nest in a shrub, in April 2021, at our wildfilmsindia Motidhar estate forests. The Laughie nervously approaches its nest, turning this way and that, before deciding to make the call finally! It launches forth and settles into its comfortable nest made
