Male and female Ultramarines fly back and forth to their nest hole in a Landour Rhododendron tree, ferrying food for their chicks. See their aerial pirouettes in slow motion. Examine the diet of the cute little Ultramarine or White-browed Blue Flycatcher, as the mother and father bring food to their young ones. This includes a gloworn or bioluminescent insect, in one case. The female is dull brown in colour and most elegant while the male is a beautiful medley of blue and white. The birds are being cautious as they have nested close to a walking track in the lower Himalaya, and frequent visits by tourists and locals put them constantly on the guard, for their brood which lies protected in the hollow crook of a Rhododendron tree.
