A Blue Rock Pigeon (Columba livia) attending its nest with a newly hatched chick. The adult bird remains closely positioned over the hatchling, providing warmth and protection while occasionally adjusting its posture to brood the chick. The sequence documents the early stages of parental care and nesting behaviour, highlighting the close attention given to the vulnerable hatchling during its first days after hatching. That kabootar bird poop around the window sill is what can cause multiple diseases that are spread by urban pigeons!
