Most of the animals appear to be Marwari goats, a hardy breed native to the western deserts of India and renowned for its ability to thrive in harsh, arid environments. The scene unfolds within the vast expanse of the Thar Desert, where sandy terrain, sparse vegetation, and scattered desert shrubs dominate the landscape. Adapted to extreme temperatures and limited water availability, Marwari goats play an important role in the traditional pastoral economy of Rajasthan. Sudasari is one of the most significant wildlife areas within Desert National Park and is internationally recognized as a stronghold for the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard.
