Laungewala Yudh Sthal is a tourist destination in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Here you can see the destroyed Pakistani tanks and trucks, and the bunker of the Indian Army. Laungewala is an important battle site where the Indian Army defeated the Pakistani Army in the Indo-Pak War of 1971. It is located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. In the Thar Desert, Longewala was a border post where 4000 Pakistani soldiers attacked 120 Indian soldiers. The Indian troops fought back strongly and pushed back the Pakistani forces. The Battle of Longewala was India's first major victory in the western sector in the 1971 war.
