'Time to fly children', the mother stork seems to be communicating to the protest calls of the juveniles with almost adult-like bodies except for thir plumage. The juvenile Painted Storks look like they are having their finals on foraging food as the mother flies off leaving them at a waterhole inside the Keoladeo National Park. It is a haven for migratory and resident bird species of over 300 and is the largest man-made wetland reserve for birds in India. The monsoon rains are what keeps this wetland running for the drier months.
