In a Himalayan forest setting, several bird species are observed displaying varied behaviours. A Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush (Monticola rufiventris) is perched on an open vantage point, such as a branch or rocky surface. A Scarlet Minivet (Pericrocotus speciosus) is seen on a tree branch, adding bright contrast to the greenery. A Grey Bushchat (Saxicola ferreus) remains perched while making a soft call. A Black-headed Jay (Garrulus lanceolatus) is engaged in preening, carefully grooming its feathers. At the top of the canopy, a Verditer Flycatcher (Eumyias thalassinus) is perched prominently. The scene highlights diverse avian activity within a forest ecosystem of the Himalayas.
