A group of villagers is seen together chasing down a crocodile. Diving deep into the mud, they try to reach the creature. At this point, this chase may look like a hunt but it is actually an attempt of rescuing crocodiles, victims of the depleting reserves of Krishna River. Unfortunately, sometimes it is too late and although these brave villagers do their best, the animal does not survive. However, as you get to see at the end, these people are proud of their role and their still brave attempt. The fast-depleting reserves of the Krishna River, which flows through a large part of Bagalkot and Vijayapura districts, have not only resulted in a drinking water problem in the two districts, but the situation has also made life difficult for animals, last year.
