The India Gate, a symbol of pride and architecture stands decorated in lights in the evenings. The gate designed and engineered by Edward Lutyens attracts thousands of visitors from India and abroad as well. This has been suspended since the Corona outbreak in early 2020. But this has not deterred the movement of vehicles and visitors near the national landmark. The din of vehicles and late night pedestrians chatting and shouting sounds like the Delhi before Corona. The festive season bringing out locals to the streets for shopping and some much-needed break. Yet with thousands of infections per day, it is a concern with so much movement and lack of social distancing.
