Villagers conduct a haka or haaka which essentially means a beat, in order to corner and beat to death a stray leopard that has come into the village fields from an adjoining forest area. They literally corner and beat the poor hapless animal to death. Villagers derive entertainment from having killed a stray leopard in their mustard fields. They beat it to death and eve in death, they keep hitting it with sticks, in order to derive some strange morbid vengeance on the poor beast which was panicked and attached a farmer, as it felt threatened and cornered. After killing this beautiful animal, these Indian villagers from Hapur in Uttar Pradesh drag its body through the fields, showing utmost disrespect to a dead animal and triumphan
